I know we didn’t get a chance to talk about this piece in class as much, but i was having the same questions as your group seems to have. Mainly with the birthmark; this is driving me crazy! I want to find out so badly what it all means. I havn’t yet thought of any hypothesis yet, but i do like the fact of reincarnation. This is an interesting and different way of looking at it; and hey, with this novel .. ya never know!
